Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

It's like I can feel the anticipation on the thread, like before Christmas ... which is when everyone opens their presents this year and get a pair of VR headsets. The mobile ones made of cardboard are becoming popular and can be assembled at home, VR is going to be accessible to anyone who has a smartphone.

this saves you time with godad auctions.. cause since they bought asftrnic everything you list on afternic goes to godad automaticially.. but not viceversa.

do not listen to no one who says its not true. I have quadrply confirmed this. so this is as certain as the fact that all members of this thread will one day make enough money form their vr domain sales to buy themselves private islands and retire there forever.

Like what alcy said, Sedo, Flippa, and Afternic are good places to start. Putting your best domains in your signature here on NamePros wouldn't hurt, either. I'm sure a few of the offers I've gotten so far have been from this forum.

I do have to wonder how this is going to work though. Imagine the nightmare of having to change batteries and memory cards on all those cameras! Having to turn each on, dial in the right settings, etc...

If somehow everything is managed together, like one big battery in the center with a harddrive to store the data, and one On/Off/Record button then I could see it becoming popular. A little too expensive for me though.

They'll become the biggest, "ZOMG DID YOU SEE THIS YET!?" and everyone on YouTube will be able to see it with Google's new Cardboard kits--now updated to be compatible with more phones, including iPhones.

Very true! I just hope there's more to the rig than just the camera's. I may have to sell some domains to get it... I'm hoping there will be more competition out there for cameras, just like there are with headsets. Samsung was supposed to be working on one.. I doubt we will see anything at E3 about cameras, but my fingers are crossed. It would be nice if Jaunt would bring out a consumer camera, but it looks like they are keeping their technology for inhouse productions.
