It could also be a forum for folks to discuss their zoo going experiences.

To get more bang for your buck, you could subdomain it:

Alabama.Zoos.us, NewYork.Zoos.us, Wyoming.Zoos.us etc etc you get the idea!

Its also a brandable, short name. WHen i read the name at first, i didn't think of the plural of zoo, i just thought "zoos", so i think its a versatile name.

Nice name. Zoos are very popular day trip and tourist destinations. Think of the very popular National Zoo in Wash, DC and San Diego Zoo for example.

I disagree with kemjika11's take on it. It is too good and useful of a generic term to waste for tongue-in-cheek branding.

well i totally agree it should probably be used in relation to zoos, but i was just describing what initially came to my mind when i read it.

I prefer the most obvious use of a domain name from the perspective of your average end user looking for info on the web. But I see and agree with your point. Yes, we should also look at and consider all possible uses of a name beyond its obvious application. Branding a generic just expands the pool of possible buyers.
