Hi guys, i picked this domain up a week or so ago and thought id develop it. Now i just setup a board on it with a template. Id appreciate your appraisals on the site right now. No trafic or anything yet as i just built it today and have not promoted it. Thanks

Well, I think that could be a good one for a site that offers infos, tips and help about WindowXP to beginners. Just the name I would say high $$$. Though there is a risk that you might get trouble with Microsoft. But I think it's only a minor one. Good luck.

Honestly, I don't see the name or site going for high $xxx or anywhere near that amount. The site as-is right now is worth mid $xx. There is a slight risk of trademark issues but I don't see that much of a problem since Windows XP isn't the only product that uses the letters XP in its name. It's a very short, memorable name, but I never heard anyone said they had his/her own XP (Ex. "Hey, Tom, like my new XP?").

Regardless, good luck selling, it would be much better if you were to develop it more. With just phpbb and a template uploaded, the site would not be considered developed -- you'd need traffic and regular posts with a more unique template, at least in most domain buyers' eyes. With a developed site you could expect a minimum low $xxx and beyond depending on traffic.
