Not really looking for an appraisal but I reged this domain with an idea for something but it doesnt seem obvious enough as to what it is. So can you guys tell me what you think when you pronounce it.

Damn, as I thought, not obvious enough. It was going to be a proxy list or just a site with links to my proxies. I was thinking of proxsta or something like that but didnt want prox in it so I went with prockstar instead which is pronounced the same.

So whats the verdict, cancel + refund and reg a different name or stick with it?

Yeah, proxy never popped into my mind. And I was sitting here for a while chanting "prock star, p rock star, prockster...".

I don't see the point in cancelling it though. I've done pretty good with "one offs" before (like Bicyclee.com & Choww.com).
For the negligible price of a reg fee, I'd park it for a year and see how it does. If it generates even $10 in 12 months it pays for itself.

You're gonna need to keep looking for your proxy list domain though.

ProxyDir.com is dropping at TDNAM in the Firesales.

Yeah, i think so. Just added it on my namedrive account so I can test traffic, you never know, but i will probably cancel it tomorrow as I dont expect any. Thanks for that link jarmer but I only use newly reged domains if they have the word proxy in them so they arent already blocked by filters.
