I have been using the name 'maptrix' in business for some years. Any thoughts on the phonetics and likely potential.

I have the name maptrix.. with a number of Tlds, have not had the needed to promote the name.

However some people might get confused with the movie matrix.

But nice name.

I first thought of the matirx when I saw your name. Then I thought that it sounds likt "map tricks". Its an ok made up word, IMO.

Maptrix - tricks with maps, rather querky but when you have seen the software then you would appreciate the name - to do with mapping and real estate.

I am going to progress slowly and put up a web site later in the year

If it is map trix, then you should write it as MapTrix. I've been trying to make it one word, and I don't think it works too well if it is Maptrix.

No an original - original name. As others have pointed out it is easily confused with another off topic word, matrix.

Coming up with truly original, yet meaningful names is exceptionally difficult even for companies that focus on that niche.
