I think, this is the kind of domain we all like to appraise. :wave:

It would be nice to know where you see the end user price.

But more than that:

How would you monetize this kind of domain???
Any further thoughts???

Ground.com is an excellent name that can have unlimited purposes.
Not only is it a very common 1 word .com with 326,000,000 google results, the word Ground can be used for anything from construction to media, Take a look at NewGrounds.com.

I personally wouldnt sell this domain for under 500k if i owned it.

Hi, congrats on the purchase; you got a great deal. In terms of end-user price, you are probably in the low xxx,xxx range. If you're parking, you should likely use a 2 page lander, since visitors will be looking for a large variety of keywords rather than 1 targeted one. You have a great name, best of luck!

Parking should only be short term, while analysing the traffic. Still, how does this double landing page work???

The idea is to develop, so I'm gathering ideas at the moment.

It just provides a number of categories for the user to select rather than just a page of static links, see, for example, www.tube.com

That's a customized Fabulous lander -- they'll do it for prime generics (perhaps yours?)

Would say around 50-60k, it is nice name in terms of being a common word dictionary .com but it is also a very untargeted term with little commercial meaning.

I don't see this getting 6 figures myself, compare it to say wind.com and .net which went for 80k at traffic last week. Regrading monetization I think that will be hard going, the traffic is probably largely looking for newgrounds.com

I would say $80k is low although Its on the same level as wind.com i think, But it could easily go for mid xxx,xxx. Just need the right buyer. : )

I'm testing it at Sedo at the moment, but might try Fabulous to have a comparison. Itjust depends how quick I get down to developing the site.

I'm sure developing ist the way to go, since I have no intentions of selling under xxx.xxx
Developed revenue should be much more interesting on this kind of name.
