Personally, I don't think theres many good mobi's left. Why buy some goofy name hoping it will resell. It won't work. I suggest like many people in the past have, invest in a nice second hand mobi. Buy a LLL for $200. If you buy a goofy name, only do it to develop. :imho:

What's it mean for .mobi? Unless one of the big companies unleashes their .mobi advertising to its fullest potential, .mobi will be a backup domain at best. again, this is just my VERY humble opinion, and more than once, i've been wrong before. *just ask my ex wife* :hehe:

I appreciate and respect your caution. There are too many ifs right now to proclaim mobi a winner or a looser. Yet there are many things that are favorable for such a young tld. Great backers, emerging corp .mobi sites, strong investments from some seasoned domainers. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will .mobi be. But its root assumption is there will be an every increasing demand for mobile internet usage and this is definitely taking shape and contributes to the primary user base of the extension.
