Could I have some opinions/appraisals of the newly acquired your.mx domain please.

Cheers,

Michael

Got a couple of others I'm looking at registering in this ccTLD. Any advice?

Appreciate a bit of a guesstimate on value on your.mx so I can make an informed decision about investing in a small .mx portfolio.

If it's an mx domain shouldn't it be a spanish word? That's gonna drag the value down.

I would have thought very basic and obvious english words which were generic would do OK?

I think it would be better to get keyword domains (examples: Loan, credit, domain keywords). Also, Jeffusa also has something there, this is the extension for Mexico. Just one man's opinion, but I don't see any value or development value in your.mx. Some registers have a grace period where you can get your money back within a certain time period. Good Luck.

I agree. There are MANY names better than YOURs still available. You have to do your homework and investigate as much as you can. Look for category words, names with appeal to end users.

I'd look at the following:

3 letter spanish words like...
ojo.mx "eye"
mar.mx "sea"

or multi funcional words like...
fin.mx
tan.mx

IMHO

value depends. in the short term i dont believe you will be able to flip .mx for any significant margin because its too new. if your intention is a longer term investment then i think you will see the value for .mx grow over time as it begins to supplant .com.mx which may take some time.

i agree also that you should be as selective as possible, better off with strong keywords that have a market
