$800,000 wow!, isn't that one of the highest .com sales of 2005?
Did you sell it via a company or did the buyer contact you?

I have a method for selling good domain names, and you DONT want to be listed on DN journal. Thats for suckers.

If a potential buyer saw me on DN Journal, they would know that I sell domain names and you want them to think that I am just a punk kid with something that I dont have any idea what it is and you just want to sell it.

Plus I dont think the sale really counts because I have not gotten paid. it was a strange sale. i advertised (in my secret place) and the guy wanted it, I shot out an agreement calling for 50% down (400) and he signed it and wired me 300,000.00 and then demanded I give him the name. The agreement called for 400 down, then I transfer the name in trust to him, then he wires the balance. What i think happened, and this is from expereince, is that he wired the cash thinking I would just transfer the name and then his idea was to keep it.

WHo knows. My attorney drilled him off a letter telling him he has until Feb 15th to make the balance or we keep the money and the name.

BTW, 300 is not alot when you have a 4300 mortgage and two screaming kids and a wife who lives at Luey Vitton. (i know I got the spelling wrong but I dont care, I hate that place)
