So what exactly are you paying for? The design. I paid several thousand dollars just for the design of the site. And I have put hundreds of hours into the site through creating individual pages for every artist and sports team etc that i could think of. I wanted to buy a site like this complete but people don't sell them without subscriptions. For instance if you got with http://www.ticketplatform.com/ then you will pay them $2000 for your custom site. And then after that at least $95 a month but possibly more depending on that you want. It's hard to start a small site when you have to pay $95 a month to use their software if they site isn't making any money.
How do you make money? Will it's a ticketnetwork site. So all you have to do from this point is signup for ticketnetwork(free), then put your code in with a find and replace of what my code is and you'll be ready to go. From there you just set your markup on the tickets. For instance if you put 15% then when you sell 2 tickets to a Yankees game for $300 then you get $45. All you really have to do is spruce the site up a little bit and work to promote it, i never spent much time on social media with it, but think it could do extremely well with some work. This is a billion dollar industry and I feel like there is a lot of room for these types of sites, and the work is very minimal now that the site is up. Ask me anything you'd like.
