I just bought YankeeTickets.net. I was wondering how much you guys think it would be worth???

How much would YOU pay for this domain? And does it have any potential in your opinion?

How much would I pay? $2 right now, don't think it would get tremendous type-ins and I can't take on any more development needed names (Although I do still take them in ).

How much do I think someone else would pay? Up to low $xxx to mid $xxx.

Is this a new registration? That would be hard to believe that nobody else ever thought of it. If it is new, nice job

I doubt there is a TM issue- the TM you are thinking of is New York Yankees.
Yankee is a slang term for a northerner.
I think you could get upt to $1K to the right enduser-scalper agency.

no sign of yankee tickets...yankee candles, yes, Yankee Stadium, yes, Yankee tickets, No.

Well, being from Boston.....YANKEES SUCK. I just had to throw that in. Could be used for a scalping site, just be acrefull of the laws.

I didn't look but IMO.. the Yankee name when used commercially is still protected by common law trademark.. and we're not talking about the tickets themselves, but a "website" selling tickets.. there's a difference.

Unfortunately, idotz.net refused to register this domain for me and told me that .NET rejected it... so they refunded my money.

Oh well, this thread can be deleted. I had no idea it would get rejected by .NET. I guess there was a TM issue... oh well. Thanks

Looks like GoDaddy snagged it for someone. Whois shows created today and registered at GoDaddy.
