Even particularly horrendous 3-letter dotcom combinations can get low $1,XXX nowadays. YAI.com - while containing a "Y" - doesn't look that bad to me. Given time and some luck, you should be able to see low to mid $X,XXX for this from another reseller. With an end-user, who knows?

I'd sit on this one, market it well (to a Japanese firm, in particular?), and wait for a lot more than mid x,xxx. If you're canny with this kind of alternative, creative marketing, you'll see a lot more lettuce out of that name.

Agreed - with 2,640,000 results for YAI in Google and an overture result of 165 for yai.com with extension a little searching and you are sure to find someone interested in paying that and more.

Yes, I knew this name was worth quite a bit. I might have held out even longer with it; another month or 2 makes a big difference in the amount of end users you can reach, and random trolling buyers who would spot it.

But, great sale anyway, IMO.
