is it possible to hack at yahoo or hot mail account?

i am trying to do some transfers but the parties concern says the

yahoo email account have been hacked and hijacked??

anybody have experience this?

or know of a case?

Eh, I don't think this is the place to discuss hacking a hotmail or yahoo account.

the only way to hack it would be brute force hacking, or if he left the password lying around (not really hackin)

Unless they found a security flaw in the coding, which i doubt it would be all over the net if they had found such a thing There aint any other ways of hacking in really.

I used to be a hacked wannabe even got my hands on major hosting companies in russia, free hostings wth 1000+ users as well... but I was just a scriptkiddie :p

Yes, that is just as bad. However, the original question was not how to hack an email account, it was if it was possible for an email account ot be hacked. The answer is Yes, because nothing is totally secure, but I would say with someone reliable such as Hotmail or Yahoo, I would think it would be VERY VERY VERY hard, so basically what I am saying is the answer is NO.
