Yahoo Directory - Paid Listing

I'm looking for thoughts on whether or not it's worth buying a listing in the Yahoo directory (now $299). I imagine it depends on the category and topic. What are some cues you might use to determine if it's worth it?

I wouldent buy it, your better off buying advertising or a couple high PR links. It'll drive a lot more traffic to your website and increase PR.

Thanks for the input. I'll look around for some high PR sites that I can buy links at. Do you have any sites to recommend?
