I have just picked up the name related to compaq with a org dot uk ext

the name has just dropped

You cant be serious. This is a major and I mean Major trademark . The laptop I am writing on right now says Compaq. this has got to be a joke. No body would seriously ask for an apprasial of one of the worlds biggest trademarks. Yeah its worth XX,XXX , thast the legal fees and penaltys you will have to pay. This is no joke.

I'd say, prepare to part with this domain, They'll probably take it from you. Just try to get rid of it quick.

Also, don't rely on the fact that if HP do come after you, they wont buy the name from you, they will simply throw a C&D at you. Then when you get rid of the name, they will then probably buy it for reg fee just so no-one can get the name.

Or they may leave it just so they throw even more C&D's (and possible legal action!) at others IF they buy the name.

There are plenty of WIPO for Compaq already, here is an example: http://www.adrforum.com/domains/decisions/99672.htm

.org.uk is only good for UK-based NGO, non-profit etc
Of course Estibot is completely wrong and names like that will only cause problems.
