It's a combination of a direct TM issue, and a hyphenated .us which makes it not worth much, even if the term is hyphenated in normal use. If you just picked it up for reg fee, that's probably the reason it wasn't registered.
...That being said, a hyphenated .info sold for over $20k recently.
I did pick it up for reg fee but it had just dropped---All the other extensions are taken including name and TV and it gets all those results up above with the hyphen.
