Hi All,

I am just looking for some advice on selling the website SpaceForum.com. Had it for around 10+ years and am looking to sell it on now. Had a couple of email offerss of Mid to High $xxx and was wondering if I should just accept and be done with it.

Any comments welcome...

Thanks

you could possible get low-mid $XXXX if you shop it around. The question is how much time and experience do you have in selling domain names and would you lose the current offers if hedged your bets.

Great name. Did you ever consider putting in the effort to develop it ? It's certainly no easy task to develop and maintain a community (forum) site, but it's also pretty good in terms of getting stickiness.

That being said, forum sites are hard to monetize, unless you have a significant amount of devotion ready.

I say low to mid $xxxx at the very least for the domain only.

I agree with the others. To a very interested end user Low - Mid $X,XXX. However, probably closer to the low end.

To a reseller it would be far less. As others have said forum sites are hard to monetize. Not to mention there is no real product connected to the forum. If it was GameForum.com / CarForum.com or something similar, there is a product tied to it which would make monetizing it much easier.

Don't sell it for less than $2000.

like the name, with good potential, valuewise, $xxxx, but if you do need the money, high $xxx is not a bad deal either
