www. or not?

Quick question,
when you set up a new domain in WHM
are you supposed to put in www. or not?
or does it matter?

No, never enter www for a domain, it's considered a subdomain, and will be present in the DNS record when you create the account

Just to clarify, if you do put www. infront, it will be, www.www.domain.com

the hosting selection should give you an option whether to make the two (with and without www) to be the same.
