I am selling two letter www.MD.im domain.
Can be used for medical doctors website,... forum to answer medical related questions, etc.
Most importantly, it can be used by any doctor.
Phrase "md" is searched over 30 million times a month on Google alone and an exact word [md] is search over half a million times monthly just on Google.
"MD" definition:
- md is: doctor, doc, physician, MD, Dr., medico (a licensed medical practitioner)
- md is: Maryland: a Mid-Atlantic state; one of the original 13 colonies
- md is: the Internet country code for Moldova.
- md is: Symbol for mendelevium (Md)
- md is: muscle disorder
etc...
Name is very easy to remember, easy to advertise, nice for a business card, short enough to type...

I can only guess how much worth is this domain at the moment, as I am still waiting for an official domain appraisal, which I should have within 3 days. I'll post it here as soon as I'll get it.
But just to give you some idea, all 2 letter .IM domains were sold by IM registrar for $800 USD (1 letter .im domains were $1600 USD).
Regarding renewals through nic.im, they will eventually go down as major players in domain registering will adopt this new country code top level domain.
There is already couple of resellers who offer them already more cheaply, but I am hosting it with nic.im as I wanted to make sure I can do an easy transfer.
The .IM domains are becoming popular with companies at the moment and not only those who produce instant messaging software with names registered by Pidgin, Yahoo! Messenger, Adium, Meebo, Pandion, Coccinella, Trillian, and IMO among others (who pay premium prices for these domain extension), but also for personal use.
Note that short (1-2 letter) meaningful domains retain their value well and I guess that's why Island of Man (.im) decided on the current pricing rates for 1 and 2 letter domains.

Currently (today - 30.Aug.2009) there are three short 2 letter .im domains with valid offers available for sale at sedo.com:
us.im - 2 offers
de.im - 1 offer
nl.im - 2 offers
All submitted offers were equal or over > 10,000 EUR
Guessing by obvious interest, my domains (ca.im & md.im) will start with min. offer: 10,000 USD
