Ask anyone who's not a domainer about extentions and 95%+ wouldn't give a damn. Ask your non-domainer friends what they'd rather have, www.hype.ws or www.hype-it-up.com - I bet most would take the .ws
Also ask them what the .ws stands for, and if they care.
I'd stick it on Sedo et al for $xxxx - as long as you're prepared to renew it once or twice, it'll find a buyer. Ideally suited to PR firms, they'd appreciate the .ws for it's 'quirkyness' and non-conformity.
It's a great name - look past the current attitude of most domainers and you'll see that end users will trade .com for great keywords
To the domain industry, today, it's worth $15-50 as suggested above, but further afield you can add 2 zeros to that IMO.
