You need to make a phone call to DigiMedia, they are known in the business, and will want fair market value for this domain, you are looking most likely 6 figures...

That domain is def probably out of the budget you stated. I think the market value for that domain is def in the low to mid six figures. And if you emailed them with the offers in you budget range then that could be the very reason you have not received any reply since they probably think it is not a serious offer.

Its such a shame that a lot of these type of country and geo city domains are not developed at all. I think the owners will make so much more money if developed. The worst example is Brazil.com that was sold for 500K a couple of years ago I think and it is not even a parked page, instead a godaddy page which is only making $$$ to Godaddy. Unless godaddy bought the domain or either the owner has a lot of money to throw away that he/she doesn't even park it. What a shame.

Anyway OP atleast you tried. Try maybe .net or .org version and see if they are on sale. If you are looking to develop a site then those extentions are good too.
