Purpose:
The purpose of writeastory.net is to enable authors from all over the globe to contribute to one of the suggested short stories.
This will act as an incentive for the young and old, male and female, amateur or serious aspiring novelists to express their ideas and imagination.
How does it work?:
New short stories will be started from time to time. An introductory sentence may be given apriori to get the story going. Users can register and start appending their own sentence or paragraph to the already existing story replies.
The length of a story is not predefined. As long as there are contributors with ideas for a certain topic, that topic can continue.
This site is CUSTOM coded and CUSTOM designed. Effort has been put into it and this is to be seen as a mini-forum software

- Delete Posts
- Launch a new story for others to build on
- Add moderators
- Delete moderators
- Check the user list
- Ban users
- Unban users
- Delete a whole story and its subposts
- Change existing user ranks to normal or moderator or admin
Moderator Options:
- Edit Posts
- Delete Posts
- Check the user list
- Ban users
- Unban users
Options available for all users:
- Contribute to a story
- Edit their own posts
- Login/Logout system
Other features:
- Access is checked for each page to determine if only admin is allowed or the moderator too or plainly anyone (transparent to the user).
