First dashed domain purchase. Registered it because I see potential for it being used for WordPress tutorials. I looked up name bio and found some "wp-" domains go for sale. I don't really know how much the hyphen affects the price. Any appraisals will be appreciated.

I too own a premium domain that starts with WP , but I bought it 10 years ago for a premium at that time , still I do use it for getting WordPress projects / jobs.

Dash in the domain name is a minus for its value , but only if you prefer to sell it in future.
Otherwise the domain looks good for WordPress related contents.

The value of the domain depends on the website design & the rich content it has along with the way you promote / market your site.

Godaddy appraises this domain for $468 , but its just an estimate based on some pre-defined algorithm they use to evaluate a domain , so you can use it as reference but cannot consider it as an actual value.

It's worthless for the following reason: wpez dot com (no dash) is an already existing business that is targeted to WP users. You will lose a ton of traffic to them because of the dash.

I see where you're coming from because the WP ecosystem is massive. But in this scenario, somebody already has you beat with the better name. Building a business on wp-ez.com would be building a business on quicksand.
