All 46,656 possible .com 3 letter-number combinations are regged and presently there are less than 100 of the scrambled 3 char names pending delete. I found 3, (0o9.com
0pf.com were 2 of the 3), that were free, but they were all reggd by the same person, DomainSite.com, by the time my bulk search was completed. It would appear that mixed 3 character names have become a commodity, particualarly in the .com and .net tld's. (Approx. 2/3 of the .nets are also gone). This is a relatively recent occurence- only a couple of weeks ago, I had run a list for 1+LL names and I recall that some .coms were still avail.
There are only approx 80 mixed letter-number .com names pending delete, and all except 1 or 2 are scrambled N-L names w/o any apparent meaning.
Based on supply and demand economics, it appears that, now, all 3 character names, (and not just the 3LLL and 3NNN names), have become hot. Wow!
