Worst Search Tool is GoDaddy

I absolutely hate the new godaddy search box which on a number of times has shown a name available only to then reload the page and show the name taken as if i am playing some weird game of 'ha ha ..gotcha'

It's like some kind of f**ked up poker machine

I went over to dynadot but then the site failed due to maintainence .. drive me crazy

That's been a regular thing at GoDaddy for years.

On the other hand, I contacted Dynadot myself and they told me that they aren't sniffing the search box in any way whatsoever.

It's more about their latest design, it loads and then sometime reloads causing chaos along the way as happily think i got the reg only to see that change the next second .....annoying

That's always going to happen with non-live search engine. Personally, I like the layout of GoDaddy's whois, although I don't use it because of always having to enter a turin code and the fact that it doesn't provide live results.

I also hate the dydnadot tools (which is better) you type name and think you are in luck until you look to the right and see 'premium'

Sounds like a glitch, might be worth contacting GoDaddy support.

My internet seems to be running better today and the 'slot machine' element is not there.

But it was messing with my head the other day big time

Did this to me several times today. I was always like "wow, how can that not be registered?!". Then I click on it.
