Are worldcup+word.com domains considered trademarks and therefore cannot be sold

What are you asking?

Just because something is listed for sale does not mean anyone is going to buy it, or that it is free of conflicts. Quite obviously, if you are a trademark owner, there is no point in running around scooping up every domain with the mark, if the domain is (a) not one you want to use, or (b) not causing any problems.

But, yeah, as if someone is going to pay $3k for WorldCup2022.com or nearly $2k for 2002WorldCupKorea.org - because so many soccer fans have been in long term comas and don't know what freaking year it is. Can you imagine being stupid enough to keep renewing those domains? Does it hurt to be that dumb?

With the ice thingy going on, FIFA might move the world cup to Canada or to Mexico or to Europe.
Visa fees as much as $500 and hefty deposit $$$ just to visit USA and no guarantees and the high cost $$$$ staying in USA...so why bother... foreigners coming to USA might get deported....or the administration might ban certain world cup teams from coming...

Same goes to Olympics....move to Canada
