Please pardon my n00bness. I'm wondering if wordtracker (http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/gtrends/) has any reliability as a possible traffic indicator for type ins. Lets say for example that I'm playing with this tool and find a search term that has approx 1500 searches, but no searches with extension. Would it be safe to assume that if I register searchterm.com it will have at least some type in traffic? Does anyone have experience using a similar process to hunt down potentially worthwhile domains, and if so, how many searches would you need to see for a term before you would consider it a worthwhile purchase for a domain name? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
