Hi, is there a plugin to enable dropdown menu item or is it based on theme? Thanks

are you talking about the backend admin menu? if so then there's a plugin for that and it's not based on theme.

its all in the css coding of your template you need to pretty much hardcode it then modify in the css and make usre you specify the drop downs as sub castegories or sub pages.

The backend admin menu should be auto drop down as of 2.7.x with the enhanced admin menu that was rewritten.
