Hello,

I have a few questions and I will be very thankful for the help.
1. I am using DreamHost and WordPress for my blog. How can I make a post sticky. I tried Red Alt but it didn't work.
2. How can I stop displaying date and time for a post. I modified archive.php and deleted the time&date line but no luck.
3. How can I display Google AdSense in my blog.

For the time and date that is in the admin panel I believe under options somewhere. I don't know how to do the sticky but I do know ads. For ads you have to modify your code. It depends on your template. PM me if you need further help.

For the Google Adsense question, when you install WP you will have a folder where your templates are kept (don't recall its name sorry), export it onto your hard disk. Now open up the folder (in your hard disk) and edit the file where you want to put Google Adsense (the index.php of your blog is in PHP INCLUDE style, so it's made up of every other little files it came with, like the footer.php, sidebar.php, etc.), and put the code onto your desired position.

Thanks for the help PCWebAdvice and leviathon. I started my first blog at salamti.com. Added Google adwords code in index.php. However, for the sticky post I found no solution, so added the sticky/important message in index.php too. Please review my simple blog.

I added Google adwords. Some times the pages load properly, but some times it takes forever to load the Google adwords. However, clicking the refresh button once loads the page correctly. Please suggest what to do.

it is just normal since your blog is not yet fully indexed by google.

try adding your site on your sig, it really helps for robots to crawl your site.

actually you can display adsense on blog
