Autoblogged is a plugin for WordPress that automatically creates posts and builds content from RSS feeds, Blog searches, and even from your Del.icio.us bookmarks. Once configured, the plugin will continue to find posts for your blog with no effort on your part.

AutoBlogged lets you quickly build a site with natural keyword density and useful content.

AutoBlogged Features:

- Automatically posts to your blog using RSS feeds, blog searches, bookmarking
- Powerful keyword engine creates WordPress tags from the original article content
- Include extra tags on each post to target specific keywords
- Build a list of stopwords to block certain types of content
- Automatically skip posts from certain domains or accommodate bloggers who wish to be excluded from your blog
- Provides appropriate credit to original source and includes keyword-rich links back to the original article
- Saves feed fields AutoBlogged saves every field in the RSS feed to each post as WordPress custom fields. This means that you have access to image urls, video urls, or any other information the feed provides.

The price is $24.95 for one site, $59.95 for unlimited servers. Full unencrypted PHP source code included with purchase.

To see demo sites, purchase, or for more info visit http://autoblogged.com/ or PM me.

Note that this script is not a scraper and does not work well in this capacity. This script is meant to build legitimate portal and aggregator blogs and has features to be friendly to other webmasters.

lovely, i was just on the market for this one. Will grab an unlimited license.

are the upgrades free or charged?

edit: i just bought this and installed it one a site. I must tell you this is a swell plugin. Great stuff :)

couple of stuff

1. Right now, i am adding the sources one by one. So, instead of running the script for all the sources, can it be possible to do source by source. I might want to run one source now and another later on.

2. how can i set the time when the script auto runs? i see this on the options page
Last run: 1:06 am Next run: 2:54 am

can i change this, so that the script runs every x hrs?

I answered these questions via PM but I thought I would also answer them here:

script for all the sources, can it be possible to do source by source. I might want to run one source now and another later on.

Added to the TODO list for the next release

This will be an option in the next version, but for now you can edit autoblogged.php and search for this line:
update_option('rss_autoblog_interval', rand(3600, 10800));

Those two values are in seconds and the blog will check for new posts in all the feeds some random time between these two values.

Also, I have seen a number of the sites people have been setting up with this script and I am impressed that people are using it to create real sites that certainly would pass a manual review.

I'm really not seeing spam, mfa, and search bait sites. I realize someone could use this script for that and no doubt people will, but you can also use it for some very useful sites.

I recently used it myself to set up a site to monitor and aggregate articles about click fraud: http://clickabusers.com

This site turned out so well I subscribe to the feed myself and so have a number of others.

I purchased this a few days back and here are my early impressions:

Great price for easy to install plugin
Good documentation thus far
Good responses from bbakk including email how-to's
Easy to edit the plugin output as it is well commented in - I can't say enough about people who take the time to comment their code.

Bad stuff - as noted by praveen100 I'd like to see the same things incorporated into the script. Would also like to see some kind of tag integration if possible.
