Focus on tried and tested extensions when entering this industry, once you get a few sales under your belt, then try your hand at some other extensions if you really want to

no value in these names

1) You have find words related to cloud computing
2) there is no market for .cloud names yet, its just been released

Have a look at namebio.com and dnjournal.com for past sales to get some idea on what sells

I agree they do not fit with the technology, I don't blame the poster as it was extremely hard to find anything of value. The registry is already one step ahead, and has tagged past sales with premiums. The premiums are not in the hundreds, they are in the 5-6 figure range. There is not much of a play here, they want to go directly to the end user.

Not seen a decent handreg in this extension yet. Grace delete these domains and study domaining more if you want to make money of it.

Exactly, the average domainer doesn't stand a chance, thats why you wait until the dust has settled and then buy them on the aftermarket for bargain prices. Imagine what you have to sell it for if you pay a 30K registration fee, total waste of money.

The registry took care of the aftermarket issue also, as all those domains come with 4 figure renewals also. They took the domainer out of the equation.
