vista64.org/info & planetvista.info
The big difference between these and WindowsVista anything is that WindowsVista is TMd by microsoft and Vista isn't. TM probs and headaches regging WindowsVista_Anything.com

Haha. Someone here or someone that has visited this thread just regged Vista64.info

128 :-s I don't think that would come for next 20 years...64 bit is 2^64 (power)..That's 16 terabytes of memory...

And btw, are people posting here just to get NP$ ? Coz a lot of posts are making no sense to me. Or is it only me ?

I guess they were looking w-a-y off into the future. I asked for a math lesson on another recent thread. I don't know if you saw it and are volunteering, but much appreciated.

That must also mean that 32 bit is 2^32 p0wer?Than 64 is quite a leap upward. Out of curiousity, does the 2^ have something to do w/ the fact that a computers uses a binary system, a binary being a positional notation with a radix of two, ie 1's and 0's?
Those Whacky Radixes

It represents the amount of memory the processor can address. 32-bit process can handle 2^32 bits = 4 GB of memory. Now that's not very huge in today's world. But 64 bit is quite sufficient.

Thanks,
Pratik

Why wouldnโ€™t you register VistaX64 which is the actual name of the OS or Vista64Bit domains? What about VistaPremium the name most likely to replace Professional and MCE?

My preference would be the Vistax64 names- but in both instances, you are working w/ additional variables and the more that you add, the more diffuse the term becomes. There probably are a few good ones out there, however. I'll PM you w/ one that I know of, that I am going to pass on, now that this thread has inspired me to register 2 new Vista .com names- 888Vista and Vista 888. I'm really gazing into the crystal ball and looking ahead w/ 2^888. :o
(Actually, 888 is a very strong Chinese # combination.) :hehe:

"x" is not really widely used with address space. It's mainly used with processor family, like x86..
