Win $50NP EASY - What do I do with this domain?

Everyone,

Here's a very easy chance to win $50NP. I've got the following domain:

bestoftheworst.com

I just got it cause it had a nice ring to it. Now I can't figure what to do with it. And I need some ideas!

I want to make a low-maintenance site using it, and I want to put some AdSense on the site to make money. But what should the site be about? I have no clue. This is a contest for the best idea! Post as many as you want to. I will pick one as the winner by 9pm February 27.

The answer is easy IMO: review and give "awards" to the Best of the Worst sites on the Net.. the content would maximize your Adsense for you if you choose carefully which sites you review. I'd do it thematically, choosing different themes of sites each month (or whatever time frame you choose)...

Been thinking of creating a few awards sites myself.. it's also an excellent way to get reciprocal links.

My idea: make contests on this web-site with different topics / questions. The stupidest one wins.

The best of the worst:

Jokes or cartoons (bad taste, etc.)
Restaurants - Good dishes at otherwise unremarkable restaurants.
Vacation sites - Nice place to visit in places not known for vacationing (Pittsburg, Toledo, etc).
Music - Good tracks from albums that didn't do so well. Good songs from unheard of artists.
Sports - Memorable moments of forgettable players or good players on bad teams (Cory Dillon as a Bengal player).

I like the domain, and think it does have good development potential.

Maybe a site where you can view the Best of the worst of American Idol (or TV Commercials, or Movies, or Big $$$ for awful Domain Names, or Money Making Schemes).

I wouldn't limit it to one thing ....

Maybe ~ Worst ... Jokes - Movies - Songs - Dressed ...... etc .... in different Categories

alright just a though but:

make a website with multiple mini sites?

stuff like that could go over very well. I suggest if you know a server side programming language making something like that you can add multiple categories!

Discuss and rate politicians, celebrities, musicians, actors/actresses and other people covered a lot by the media. Gossips and rants about how/why they're bad and who's standing out (ie. the best of the worst). Topics like this should get nice AdSense results and you can always do some affiliate linking. Eg. celebs and other such persons could mean affiliate linking to AllPoster, Barewalls, Amazon.com or some good record store.

I would make it an archive of the "best of the worst" items ever in a lot of different categories. For example, you could have one category that is the worst dress ever at the Oscar's or something, and then update in every year. You could make a ton of categories, and just update them every time the event occurs again. This would be great for A d s e n s e , with all the different content

Yeah, I would go with the fashion ala Hollywood stars angle. I think you'd get a lot of traffic for something like that... popular! :cy:
