WHY did I have to sell my LLL.us 6 months ago... GGRRR

I sold them for around $7 each back then, now they're worth over $30 for the scrappy ones.

I had around 50 altogether, damn damn damn lol. I'd be a couple grand richer if I had of kept them :(

How many other people did the same?!

I'm in the same boat, though not nearly as bad since I only had a couple. I let them go for around $15 each and now they're going for 2-3x that.

There's a simple solution to this: buy, but never sell. :]

There are high profile domainers who actually do this, such as DCG. You can make more money if you become your own end-user, or just keep the domain for traffic revenue.

Also, if you say "why did I sell blahblah six-months ago", chances are if you sold it now you'd be saying the same thing in another six-months.

No matter when you sell them, the prices will keep on rising and even if you settle down for a few grands sale for a name you might think a year later, i could have sold that one for 2x now!!!

you probally sold them because someone here told you they had no real value....lol

Yes true prices will keep rising, but not as quick as it did as soon as all the LLL.us domains were taken (after I sold mine), sale price rose about 5X what it was, that won't happena gain that quick for LLL.us, at least for a few years.

domainers are asking themselves whether the same thing will happen re LLLL.com domains. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Almost all domains will increase in value over time - you'll always look back and think "why?".

I've just sold a few that I am sure will increase in value. Why? Because I wanted the money, now!

In 1 year I would prefer to back a decent llll.com for realisable value IMHO because of the better end user potential.

Never look back.. if you made money then and felt satisfied, that's all that counts. After 30+ years in the antiques and collectibles business I sold many things I wished I had now, but I made money and that's the name of the game.

I reged one (bad letters) just before they were all taken up, and then a month or 2 later, I sold it for 15.00... Wish I had it now though.
