Why Would Authority Sites Buy A Domain Off You?

Say you owned a forex name that got a good amount of searches and you pitched it to one of the top forex sites on google, what would be their use of another site as they already rank well?

I'm asking this because I need to give these site owners a reason to buy my domains.
