Hey,

Ok, explain here why you love NamePros so much. :D
Is it the MarketPlace, the community etc...?

I don't really sell much stuff...however, i stick around because of the great Web Development Orientated forums, and the great community! :great:

I went to a line to get into a HUGE long line to slap Bob Parsons. But I ended up having to wait 40 days and 40 nights. During that journey I managed to get a laptop of which I got 2,000KM's on the mouse according to that funny website that hi-jacks your computer and sends reports to aliens so they know who to attack and who not to attack. But when I relished this happened I had to go on a journey back in time to 1980 and visit a live Steve Perry concert which made me deaf and I ending up walking out into the street after the concert and got hit by a car going 20km/h which killed me. I ended up in heaven and god told me I had to visit one place before I could enter and sent me back to 2004 and gave me a computer, not a real nice one but a dellish one that smelled bad and didn't want to load internet explorer for some reason so I had to get my friend who was a few blocks away to burn me a CD with firefox, which than loaded. When I put on firefox it came installed with a default homepage which god assigned.

It was namepros.com

^ Thats how I found namepros.com and why I am still here.. I am not 100% sure, but I guess it is better than rambling on about nothing.

Thats all folks! (tm)

It started off a bit of fun with my mates doing discussnames at weekends,
then someone had DNF at a party and everyone else was doing it, so i joined in,then when the knowledge just wasn't enough i went looking for some stronger stuff,i new a guy who was doing Namepros and one night we stayed in and did a whole night of Namepros,. now looking to set up and run Namepros anynomous workshop to help others .

Caution... namepros should not be taken internally. :)

Its a good active community, WHT is also a popular forum but it has a more 'corprate' feel to it which I dont like...

I just love it how helpful the community is - I know a number of friends who wanted to get into domaining after talking to me and I always referred them to NP as my destination of choice. I do stop by every now and again, even though I'm no longer involved in domaining per se.

Oh, and the fact that you can buy visitors to your site with NP$ is also a big plus. It's great to see that you can contribute to the community and then actually turn that contribution into traffic and/or money!

Well, I'm a new guy here and what honestly attracted me was that people were really helpful to my questions. They didn't treat me like an idiot.

I'm a member at DigitalPoint and SitePoint but NamePros is good if you want to focus on domains and I think it does the job very well.
