Why many people are not familiar with SDN-NFV?

The record shows SDN-NFV has been here for a long time. Cisco has implemented it a decade ago. Still many are not familiar with SDN-NFV.

It is a tech that we should all be familiar with. SDN actually a catalyst for cloud-computing.
Simply stated, it is a tech that enables the techies to separate the network control plane from the forwarding plane. It is more automated in nature.
