I was generally reading up on WiFi and came accross this report explaining the viability of Wholesale WiFi, and to my supprise, this domain was available. Comments?

I've spoken to the MArketing Director at wifi.org as it happens and dependant on what I want to do with the site, there is a very good chance of getting his blessing.

I am waiting to hear back from him after I sent him a mail earlier today regarding the development of the site.

As for the search results, it's really expected to be very low as it is an evolving area. Still very much in its infancy compared to the great world of the wired Internet

I think if permision is given, and at least forums regarding wifi are up, it should be potentially valuable as we would have covered the nasty issue of Trademark

Indeed Seiya.... I do know for right now, that it is not even worth the domain reg. But, it's a $9 speculation purchase for the future.

My question is more lined for the bases of general opinion on "potential Value" should the 2 factors be worked out that Coolhost mentioned.
