Whois Update?

My host has added ID Protect to my account nearly 24hrs ago now, and I have a question about the whois details.

On most whois lookups I'm still getting my personal details displaying. On dnsstuff.com it doesn't show my personal details, the Registrant Contact is Micfo International LLC and not me. I'm not sure which is wrong and which is right?

Check what whois.net gives you. If it shows your real information, i'd go complain to your registrar.

Whois.net still shows my personal info. I will give it another day and then email them.

When using a registrar's privacy service, at the very least it should reflect in
the registrar's WHOIS database. So if your details are already hidden in their
WHOIS but not updated in everyone else's, just give the others time to "catch
on".

Not all are created equal anyway. :D

And has been mentioned many times before, the problem with a registrar ever using your "real" info in the whois is that it is now stored at whois.domaintools.com for silver members from now until forever. :td:
