This is a toolbar for internet explorer that has the power of a whois lookup and the google search all in one! If your search term in the whois search box is not a domain, it will search for your term on the google search engine!

The number one question: Does it have spyware?
The answer: No, the toolbar doesn't save/send any information to be logged! It doesn't even keep track of the content of the searches.

Features:
  • Works with all major TLDs
  • Shortcut to ToolbarWhois.com for whois lookups
  • Searches Google when search string does not contain a period (.)
  • Uninstallable via Add/Remove Programs
Mininmum requirements:
  • Microsoft Windows XP, 2k, NT, 98, ME
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • MS VisualBaseic Runtime files (usually packaged with Windows
  • NT versions
  • and a computer that runs :)

I tested it out when he made it and back then it was pretty cool. Nice and easy to get your whois info.

I had some code laying around on my HDD for it. It was from a free to use source code site (http://www.mvps.org/emorcillo/). So I finished the code and made some changes, like making it add registry keys to make it work in IE.

I'll try to learn how to use the SDK for mozilla or figure out C++ if that is what it uses!
