Which Php version has least bugs or is most 'stable'?

Php has problems. Try to reinstall. Really want to know which Php has least bugs or most 'stable'???

From google result, I saw more people use Php 4.4.2 now, but when I tried to install Php 4.4.2, I always saw a bug there.

Which Php version you think is better than others?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

There are 20 more guys saw the post, but only one helped select. Sigh.

You are not using php for programing or just don't care which Php version is better?

And Php 5.1.4 has more bugs.

Please just help to select.

Thanks!

The stable versions are considered to be:

PHP 4.4.2
PHP 5.1.4

I use 4.4.2 myself, and have no problems.

Most people probably don't even know or they just don't care.

My Hostgator server is running 4.42, my local server 5.14. I have no problems with either.

Not sure what "bugs" you've found, I haven't seen any. Maybe I'm just not looking for them though, or perhaps I just don't care so long as it works, which it does. ;)

end of the day its not what version is best, its what version works

some apps dont supprot php5
some apps dont support php4 (php5 only)
depending on your tasks, depending on your system config is dependant on what version you should use

in the 4-5 years ive been using PHP now I am yet to encounter a bug that wasnt down to my coding, i dont go searching for them, i will only peform ugprades for security reason or major feature changes. it works.
