Which logo?

I am making a fansite for a game, and have made 2 possible banners. Please look at them and tell me which you prefer.

Personally, I wouldn't go with neither of them. The quality is horrible, typo doesn't do it for me and I don't like the color choices.

Don't take it personally or anything, just need to go back to the drawing board.

Sorry, but I have to agree with blacktoned, I prefer the first one but its gotta be clearer/cleaner at least.

But he's just asked us to choose eihter the first or the second...Not comment on the logos..

I'd go with the first one because its much more cleaner than the 2nd one...

He needs to also know why folks won't like the banners.

I also don't like them, since the black text is drowned out by the dark background and images. It doesn't standout enough. Use a white matte to go around the text, and it can pass, otherwise folks would have a hard time seeing the site's name.

alanpaladka, can you still see the banners? When I visited them hours ago, they were already removed and I could only see the "We'll be back..." logo.
