Hello,

I hope this is right place to post this :)

Which domain should I use for smiley related site?

Smileys.sc - has zero PR with predicted PR4 on next update.
SmilieGen.com - has PR4
SmileyBase.com - new domain
SmileyPlus.com - new domain
SmileyPal.com - new domain
SmileyEngine.com - new domain

SmilieGen.com has PR4, gets about 10 to 15 uniques per day.
#33 on google for keyword "smiley generator".
Already has one crappy site put together in few minutes.

For long term, considering keyword, easy to remember and easy to pronounce...

Which domain would you recommend?
Thanks in advance :)

I would recommend SmileyEngine.com because it sounds good and brandable name like popular smiley website smileycentral.com IMO :)

Develop it and redirect SmilieGen.com to SmileyEngine.com :)

Although I like SmileyEngine.com too, I think Smiley is already to hard to spell for some people, and Engine adds another risk of miss-spelling. So I'd say SmileyBase.com. Or perhaps SmileyPal.com if you market it the right way (use a guy called SmileyPal on your site, etc.)

Smileys.sc
I believe it should be smilies, also .SC is not a great extension.

SmilieGen.com
Is Smilie a word? Even if it is, people will probably type Smiley instead. Also Gen doesn't really mean anything unless you really do generate smilies on the fly for example.

SmileyPlus.com
Nice domain too. But I don't think it's the best in the list.

SmilieGen - Yes, you can generate smilies, smiley, on the fly at my site :)

.SC of course. You could use the S and the C in the logo as smileys themselves!

My favorite is clearly SmileyPal.com (most brandable, nice and short, Pal fits the general happy-smiley-friendly concept, and it has the smiley keyword in it). Just about any of the .coms is better than .sc - people will have a hard time remembering the .sc extension and will go to smileys.com instead.

My vote is for SmileyPal.com as well, like Josh said, brandable, short and fun.

Wow!
Lots of great replies even to newbies post :)
Greatly Appreciated!

I decided I will use SmileyPal.com since most of you suggested smileypal.com
Plus I have HiPal.com :)

Next, I will get some scripts and smilies and will post it on Website review section.

Thanks again for all replies :)
