Which domain to develop?

Seasons Greetings Fellow Domainers!

I recently put my part-time day job on hold, and am now focusing full-time on my web development projects, including improving my skills by learning php/mysql etc...

Anyway, I have a some domains I have set aside for development, I would like some feedback on which domain do you think would be the easiest to develop and make successful, and how would you suggest doing so? Domains include:

Backup.info
Electronic.info
LED.info
AirTravel.info
Renting.info
Justice.info
Puzzle.net

Some of them are already being used for smaller projects... but they will be put aside for bigger projects...
I could develop all of them of course, and I plan to do so, but probably better to focus on one at a time...

Puzzle.net, plenty of people would love a puzzles crossords and mind puzzles website when they are bored at work, I would just concentrate on that one

IMO, Puzzle.net & Electronic.info would be the best to develop. but i Voted for Puzzle.net because :


- Daily searches for Puzzle higher than Electronic

- People use the term "Puzzle" instead of "Puzzles" more than they use "Electronic" instead of "Electronics"

- The term "Puzzles" (EX: crossword puzzles, logic puzzles, photo puzzles) more specific/targetable than "Electronics" (which divided into many categories don't contain the term in it . EX: Cell Phones, DVD Players, TVs, etc..)

- .net have a better chance with "type-in traffic" than .info

- .net more common than .info , especially when the term "info" is useless for SEO. people don't seem to use "info" when they are searching for "Electronics"

- According to Google Trends , Puzzle's search volume in uptrend & Electronic's in downtrend for the last 3 years.


But "Electronics" will overtake "Puzzles" in affiliates commission.

Backup.info, information about backing up, maybe a site and a discussion forum.
Information about all types of backups as-well as reviews and comparison of different apps. And a forum to discuss it all in.

If I'm judging by how the name sounds, I vote for backup.info
If I'm judging by traffic and revenue potential, I vote for puzzle.net
If I'm judging by what you're most passionate about, I'm afraid I have no idea.

It all depends on your goals, really. :hehe:

Justice.info, you should do a blog where you will post daily things related to justice and law and something , great revenue for this keywords.

A special thanks for the Google trends, and Word Tracker links, they were especially helpful, and something I had not looked into

I had only looked at Overture and Google's Sand box

The Keyword "backup" has quite a high "Estimated Avg. CPC" see attachment.

Also, on Overture, the most searched of the terms is "Air Travel" followed by "puzzle"

So I guess I need to find which domain would be easiest to get high in the search engine results pages...

From google trends LED seems to be growing the fastest in search queries link

Regarding where my passions lie, I am quite into research and writing. so basically I would be comfortable with developing any of the domains.

Regarding type-in traffic, none of the domains currently get any significant type in traffic.
