The domain name 5000.com recently sold for $14,000 and it got my mind wondering. If your moving away from the popular and basic numbers, would a domain name's numeric value equal a potential market price?
IE:
Would 1000.com = $30,000
Would 3000.com = $20,000?
5000.com = $14,000
Would 8000.com = $8000?
Would 10000.com = $10,000?
Or... would this never happen and Im just thinking too hard. Obviously this is all subjective as domains sell for many different reasons, but you must atleast admit that as the number gets more basic, the value will rise. thus 100.com is going to be worth more than 1000.com (assuming of course there were no other random factors),
