Wheels is largely understood as any vehicle with an engine and wheels:motobikes,cars,trucks.
The Australians have the motor sport magazine Wheelsmag,for example.I intend to use this name for development of a survey site for motor vehicles,with comparisons ,prices,features,etc.What do you think?Thanks in advance for your opinions.The big plus I see in the name is its branding potential and the fact that it explains itself.The searches figures do not bother me because the site itself in this case will have to generate traffic and keyword searches.

Dear.I can ensure you that if had enough up there to be accepted in the Princeton Economis PHD program,my IQ is higher than the sum of the IQ's of,you,your father and your grand father.I do not discuss that the ss may bother some purists.All that I am saying is what other people said that the generity of the name allows me to look at it as an asset as the basis for development.I am not saying the name itself at this stage is very valuable.Counting the pros and cons of the name I find it the most favourable name that is not taken,and good enough for development of my vision.

I already answered to that question.You should read the thread before you write.But to the point:those names are excelent and very valuable to my needs.I do not intend to sell any in a hurry and some of them are for development and are the perfect name for the projects they will home.As about your opinions,are just that:YOUR OPINIONS.I guess if you have so much time to spend in the forum you are not any good at anything else but ctricising while someone else with creativity and potecy that you may be lucking,is busy creating.Good luck

I don't hate the domain, it's better than most two word crap that graces the appraisal section IMO.

Now it may be debatable if a different name should or could be used, but given this is the one, i say it has development potential, given your plan.

As for current value, i can safely say it's not worth your $10000 asking price. I give it low $xx

I would like to know if the thread opener is a Domainer or just a user looking into Making sites ? If you are a developer then you can dig into desert and you can find oil, meaning yes you can take this domain and dev it and make hell of money if you have such plan and i hope you are successful.

But if you are looking into becoming a domainer and earn money from this field you are wearing the wrong shoes, you should get out of those heavy boots of yours and get into a sandal or something for starter.

You remind of me when i got in to domains at first, i was exactly like you frankly most of us were. I registered 100s of crap in less than a week, posted them for appraisals and everyone gave bad appraisal and stuff . But in my point of view the domains were gold but as time passed by i learned domains values and what are worth what.I was only able to sell about 10 of those and atleast get my original investment money back. During that time i learned what kind of domain had real value and whats worth investing, i know you must be very angry because what you think worth 1000's is appraised trash.

But in this section we dont appraise what the domain can do or can be dev into. People here appraise the domain itself.So people think your domain isnt worth and they have given reason, the double ss kills it , its a odd sounding because of the combination. And of course you are entitled to your own opinions too. But if you want to be a domainer and success here , you need to learn to take others advices and learn things because you are new and what you think may not be always true or correct.

And i am also not a "professional" in this yet but i have learned quite some things.

As already stated by many, this name is awkward, not as awkward as some hand reqs by non-native english speakers, but awkward none the less. NO FLOW - NO GO!

However, it could be developed, if that was your actual intent. As someone pointed out, attempt to turn you definite weakness into a "strength" or at least attempt to neutralise it. Make your site logo highlight the SS, maybe something like

VEHICLESSALES.COM or something...

Any name can become something with enough development and promotion, but it's probably better to start out with a better name to begin with if you are willing to spend all that time and money...

I hope that you mature a bit before you ask for more appraisals. While it can be funny for others to watch, it must be frustrating to those who take the time to respond to you and try to help you to watch you come back and unsuccessfully try to argue with them, round after round...
