I want to know the worth of hossip. Com and whattay.com

I don't see any particular value in this. However, if developed, one way to look at such names would be to go for superior things. Like Whattay resort. So, you could take a theme and develop a list of superior resorts or stays.
You might want to check out Trivago.
If you look at the domain name, it's not so good. I'd go with appraisals on this one and say low or mid xxx.
