What do you think about TDNAM ?

Did you have better results selling domain than SEDO and AFTERNIC?

(by the way is there an option to upload your whole portfolio and not enter it one by one ?)

Not sure about the portfolio option, sorry.

I haven't sold one name on Tdnam.

No, that's why I seldom use them even I paid for that (to get low prices regs).

IMO its the best place to sell low priced domains and mid price too.

tdNam's user interface is rather clumsy and wastes too much time and effort just to make minor corrections or additions. That deters me from using it much, even though I paid for it.

HI

I have not used TDnam to sell domains but I do buy about 20+ domains from TDnam every month..

It is also a good place to get an idea off for what resellers are paying for domains..

Thanks

It was much better - they only used to list about 300k names, now it's like 1.25m - hence your names get less exposure.

My sales there have really tailed off since the increase - and the introduction of the green tabs to highlight traffic figures.

We should all be able to put those tabs on as it gives an unfair advantage to GD's expired names - seems some people will buy anything with a green tab on it, no matter how little traffic they get.

Jas

PS - Overall I find them better than Sedo and Afternic for sales. Good customer support, and they're not greedy.

IMO, TDNAM is a good place for buyers, but sellers usually get extremely low prices.

I have sold a few names on there.
One of the names got a good price----if I had sold it on here I would have taken less than what it went for.
I think anytime you have an auction environment it becomes competitive between 2 or more persons and you have the chance of getting a good price----noone wants to lose :)
The only problem is it takes a while to get your money from them.

The Fonz is correct. I have had 0 luck with few soon to expire names. However they werent really anything to hang on to either. Some good names there do get some good bids.

I think if Sedo would have an auction feature like eBay does, its business will increase by multi-fold.

No doubt this has been suggested to eBay before by others. Just don't understand why they still haven't implemented it.

Auction is an EXTREMELY important selling and price-discovery tool, not to mention its sales-multiplying and attention-getting benefits and effects.

My guess is Sedo will have it EVENTUALLY.

A Sedo rep said today in another thread that it will implement auctions "in a few months."

ripley.

Buyers have it a lot better at TDNAM, as most names usually go for pretty low. If you're a seller and your domain sells, you'll be waiting about 33 days to actually get the money.

I have bought a few names on TDNAM, but never actually sold one. I think part of the problem is that offer/counteroffer option which just clutters up the entire market place. That being said it is risky for the seller if they don't purchase the reserve option, as some names go very low in price.

Everybody buys more and sells less on TDNAM, so whom acturally you guys bought from? :)

I've sold over 80 domains on TDNAM. Most of them have sold through the "BUY NOW!" buttons and so my customers have been the ones who don't want to wait for a sale through auctions and hate negotiating (like me). I really like the level of sales that I have received however they won't allow me upload my domains (I have asked) and hence it is extremely expensive on my time.

I expect to continue to sell domains with them.

However my pricing is quite cheap as I try and sell previously unregistered names within months of buying them and so my situation is not relevant to people who wait longer with better names for higher sales.
