I am a new domainer, snatching up names for the past month now. I've become pretty addicted to it and cannot stop!

I decided to join a forum so I have somewhere to buy/sell, and talk domains. I'm constantly bragging to my girlfriend about the domains I'm buying, but she doesn't know what the f*** I'm talking about.

A few things I've learned in my month of domaining:
  • Estibot valuations mean nothing
  • Don't buy non-tech .io domains (oops)
  • Don't stuff twenty characters into a .com because of search volume (oops again)
  • Don't buy .biz and .tv domains if your name has nothing to do with either (seemed like a good idea at the time)
  • NLLL.com is much different than LLLL.com
  • Selling domains on Flippa is a complete crapshoot (and waste of money)
One month, 51 domains, and $415 later, I learned a few valuable lessons. I'm a little smarter now.

Looking forward to meeting other domainers and absorbing all of the information NamePros has to offer!

Hello :) Welcome to Namepros!

If you wish to win this game, stay in domaining as long as possible, because patience is the key in this field.

If you want to survive set long term investment/goal(Domain investing) and also short term investment/goal(Domain Flipping) simultaneously.

Its a great place to learn good stuff.

All the best!

Welcome to NamePros @jjwilly16 -- you've come to the right place to talk domains. It seems you've already learned a lot in your first month. I hope you find a niche in the domaining biz that pays off well for you.

See you around!

@RJ!

Where have you been? I was worried about you.
I went to Las Vegas looking for you but you were not home. I ended up lost 10K in the Casinos.
