domain What's the worth of travellancing.com?

Hi guys,

Just wanted your opinion on my domain travellancing.com.

Please help

Lancing is a small residential town on the south coast of England with virtually no tourism. It is very pretty but really serves as a dormitory town for Brighton and London. I doubt it will appear in more than half a dozen searches a year, let alone a month. Why would anybody plan to travel to it?

Lancing and travel are two words which do not sit comfortably together even if you are looking at a dictionary meaning of lancing (medical, etc.).

Unless you are planning to start a travel business based in Lancing and are prepared to work hard on building the domain from scratch, my best advice is to get rid spending as little as possible to do so, or simply let it run out of registration and get deleted.

It's a buyer's market brought on by coronavirus. Time to fill the lockers with lovely cheap domains ready for the market to turn. Which it will, eventually.

But don't hold your breathe this time. I believe this is going to turn down further, into depression. The economic policies of the Western world are totally screwed up. All the talk of a quick exit, a V shaped recession, are pure wishful thinking.

We are in markets, Ayush, and unless we have money to burn we have to respond to market conditions accordingly. Far too many people who cannot afford to get burned are going to get burned.

I, for one, shall try not to be among them. So I am being extra careful in my purchasing and trying very hard to target carefully in my selling. But there is lots of good stuff to select from on the marketing side. Bearing in mind that even during the 1930s Great Recession, roughly 80% of the economy was almost unaffected, there are still huge sectors within which to target.

Just don't be tempted into those sectors which are going to be badly affected. Nobody in there will have the money to buy your domains at a reasonable price.
